Roosevelt County Sheriff's Office covers the towns of Wolf Point,
Poplar, Culbertson, Froid, Bainville
and all rural areas within Roosevelt
County. We are responsible for the investigation and prevention
of crime, coroner duties, civil
process, bailiff, emergency recovery,
detention center operations and emergency services response for
a county of over 2368 square

Roosevelt County Sheriff/Coroner Freedom Crawford has released the identity of the man found in the ditch along US Highway 2 near Bainville, MT. The body has been identified as Brian Doyle, 49, from Florida. Until approximately two weeks ago, Doyle had worked for an oil field maintenance company out of North Dakota. Foul play has not been ruled out in the investigation into Doyle’s death.
